About the Course Designer

Mr. Rolf von Roessing

Rolf von Roessing is a seasoned expert in governance, risk management, compliance (GRC), and business continuity, with over 30 years of experience across diverse sectors such as banking, finance, insurance, and healthcare. As CEO of FORFA Consulting AG, he leads an international consultancy specializing in GRC and security.

Rolf was an early member of Survive Group since 1994, and he subsequently served on the Board of Directors of the BCI from 2001 to 2008, holding the Chair of the Audit Committee from 2003 to 2008. Rolf has held key leadership roles, including Global Vice Chair and International Vice President of ISACA, where he contributed to the development of the ISACA Digital Trust Ecosystem and Framework. His academic contributions include teaching at Donau-Universität Krems and serving on the Academic Council for M. Sc. programs in cybersecurity and information security.




A prolific author and speaker, Rolf has published extensively on business continuity, resilience, and cybersecurity. His influence in the field is recognized through his extensive work with ISACA and the Business Continuity Institute, where he has shaped global standards and practices in resilience and crisis management.
