About the Course Designer

Chris Miller is an internationally respected leader in Enterprise Risk Management, Emergency Management, Business Continuity, and Organizational Resilience, with over 20 years of experience across government, corporate, and global development sectors.

She is the Former President and a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Emergency Services, and a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM), recognized for advancing risk and resilience practices globally.

From 2022 to 2024, Chris served as a Consultant to the World Bank Group, supporting national resilience and emergency preparedness programs across Timor-Leste, Southern Africa, and South Asia. Her work focused on strengthening institutional risk capabilities, crisis readiness, and risk-informed leadership.

Throughout her career, Chris has led training and advisory initiatives for government agencies, critical infrastructure operators, and private-sector organizations. 



She is known for her practical approach to integrating ERM with Business Continuity and Crisis Leadership, helping organizations shift from reactive risk management to proactive resilience.
